My Wild Vacation: Closed in 2008, re-opened 2011

Officially known as; Playa Agua Beach Villas Margarita Isle, Venezuela.

This is one of the original "Sex Resorts." This is NOT a huge five star resort staffed by "escorts." Its more like a B&B, (Brothel and Breakfast [and lunch and dinner, and free bar, and beach, and tours, and pool and fun, and etc.]). Think Club Med, with accommodations for five guests and ten escorts. And if you don't require a huge five star resort you should have a great time, one you'll want to do over again and again. In fact they say that something like eighty percent of their guests return with in twelve months for a second stay. (We went in July, and the two other guys already there had both been there earlier that year and were already planning their returns. )

The front gate is maybe twenty feet from the beach, across a dirt beach front road. Two of the rooms look right out onto the beach, Two more rooms are on the side and one room is on the far side of the kitchen, with an outdoor bathroom (walls but no roof, kind of fun). The girls have a suite of three interior rooms which might become guest rooms under the right circumstances.

Most of your time on the property, when not in your room, will be spent in the back. There's a hot tub large enough for most everyone, if you don't mind holding a girl on your lap. The regular pool is good sized and particularly nice for cooling off after sunset. Plenty of patio and chairs for the girls to tan in tiny swimsuits. There's a large covered patio, with two long tables and chairs where the girls will set you a place, bring you your food and feed you three or more meals a day.

The food is local and great. I'm not an epicure, in fact fancy food usually causes me to go looking for a burger, but this was great. In fact the food was one of my favorite things about the place, along with the atmosphere. If you missed a meal because you were otherwise occupied it was set aside and kept warm or cold for you. And even better, after a few hours of exertion - say around one or two in the morning - leftovers were waiting for you to serve yourself.

The music is always playing, there's television, big screen movies, an endless bar and before you come they ask you what you particularly like to drink so they can have extra on hand for you. My son and I repeatedly drank them out of our favorites and they always bought more before we could go dry.

Well you probably want to know about the girls. They have about a hundred profiles and pictures on their web site. And they have more girls asking to be included all the time. None of the girls we saw were knockouts, and none were the type that should be paying you to close your eyes and hold your nose. The Girls reminded me of the girls I knew in high school and college. Pleasant, not arrogant and great to spend time with. And unlike at home they were all eager for my attention. (The girls genuinely want to please you.) And the presence of so many makes it more fun then if it was just one girl per guy. There's lots of flirting and teasing, a party atmosphere.

The managers work hard to select the girls with the best attitudes. Any one who isn't "into being there" isn't there for long. And she's easily replaced.

You can request a particular girl in advance, both of the guys there when we arrived had done that. But on your first visit you should just see what you find waiting for you. There are always at least twice as many girls as guys. And you should choose one before dinner, you may change every day if you like and one day a second girl is included free of additional charge. (If you are so inclined you may pay an additional fee and have two, or more girls, for more then one night.) All of the beds are big enough for three, as are the showers.

Most of the girls are conversant in Spanglish and its a lot of fun to work out meanings. (Somehow a short shopping list became a half hour of laughs.) A few could pass an English fluency test. My first girl had duel, US and Venezuelan citizenship. The girls know you're in charge and want to make sure you have a great time. They do not work against each other, and if you want to play one off the other after a couple hours of drinking, forget it. This is not the place for you. (The guard though is to protect your privacy, not to referee your games.)

As I said, a beautiful NE facing beach is twenty feet from the front door. And a painter could spend a year there and never paint the same picture twice. There is a Sea World type Aquarium not far to the South. My son and his girl went for scuba lessons. Everybody went for a catamaran ride to a smaller island five miles off the coast. Our girls and we went on an all day "Jeep Safari" to the Western end of the island. We visited Spanish forts, Museums, Cathedrals, Rode a speed boat through the mango swamp, had a catered meal on a bluff over looking the ocean, spent an afternoon on a beautiful West facing beach, and then visited a deserted beach where anything was possible.

My son and I sat out the Casino trips, the nightclubs, the flight to Angel Falls - the highest waterfall in the world, etc, etc.

One of the best things about the Villas is the price, six nights and seven days go for $2,500. That's less then my favorite local girl charges for 24 hrs.

Global Fantasies has opened a new resort, 2010, on the Southern coast relatively near the main city.

NOW the NEGATIVE:

Margarita Island is part of the "Third World."

There was plenty of poverty, rough roads, etc.

While all of the girls were warm and positive, having a good time, they all had kids at home, (though you had to press to find this out). And most didn't tell their friends and family how they earned more in four days then their fathers did in a month.

I was told that my son had gone walking in the wrong direction on the beach with his expensive camera, towards a group of toughs, and that he shouldn't do that. I told them he shouldn't have been on the beach alone. And they agreed, it was his companion's responsibility to accompany him and let him know when or where he shouldn't do something.

And the flights to get there are what have kept me from robbing a convenience store so I could go back every month since. You can't fly into Margarita from the US. The resorts will have someone waiting to meet you in Caracas and walk you from the International terminal to the Domestic terminal. He will help you make your domestic flight reservations, change money at better then the official rate and hold your hand until you go through security. He'll be there on the way back too.

My son and I flew out of Los Angeles and changed planes in Puerto Rico for Caracas and then changed again for Margarita. We were traveling for over fourteen hours by the time we got to the Villas. Fortunately Marianne was only too eager to rub the stiff parts. (American airlines made a scheduling mistake and we were traveling for over twenty four hours on the way back.) I wish they'd had another escort waiting for me when I got home.
